While Invention Pathways Pty Ltd is a relatively young company, its two operating executives have more than 50 years combined Management Consulting & Intellectual Property experience.
Our head office is located in Townsville, however we have clients throughout Australia and New Zealand.
A number of our Australian clients have appeared on the ABC’s New Inventor Program. Some of these inventions will enter international markets within the next 12 months.
The failure rate of new inventions reaching the market is very high. We believe many inventors try to become instant Company Director, Production Manager, Finance Controller, Marketing Manager and Negotiator without the training or skills necessary to successfully achieve a fraction of these highly specialised roles, hence our reason for establishing Invention Pathways Pty Ltd.
Our aim is to assist inventors to minimise the time & money they spend in protecting their invention and trying to achieve market entry.
We only use experienced Patent Attorneys from large reputable firms to undertake the important patenting steps and believe that once you know the tasks needed to effectively commercialise your invention, you are capable of undertaking most of these yourself. If however you want us to do some of the tasks for you then we are more than happy to do them for you.

Terry is the principal of Terry Hurlock & Associates, marketing consultants. He is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute and a Certified Practising Marketer. Terry has, through his consulting work, concentrated for many years in assisting inventors with their Intellectual Property Protection, and the commercialisation of inventions. Terry Hurlock & Associates is closely associated with the largest Patent Attorneys in Brisbane and for many years has assisted hundreds of Queensland inventors. |

The Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property
Signed in Paris, France, March 20 1883, was one of the first intellectual property treaties. As a result of this treaty, intellectual property, including patents, of any contracting state are accessible to the nationals of other states party to the Convention. The Paris Convention is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) based in Geneva, Switzerland
